Oct 25, 2021 · I marked truss locations out, placed the truss "upside-down" sitting on the top joist. Nailed support (18.5" long) sticking out from the rafter. Spacer on the top plate, then used a long 2x4 to flip the rafter in place. Those 18.5" boards being used as top spacers, top of the wall had another spacer. So once flipped, the four boards spaced it out.
